Decaf Spiced Green

Description

Green tea from China, decaffeinated using a superior CO-2 process. The latter is all natural and gentle, allowing tea leaves retain their delicate shape and flavor. Makes a tasty cup of tea, both hot and iced.

Story

From the hieroglyphics on the walls of the pyramids, to the scriptures of the Bible, we find constant mention of the important part spices played in the lives of the ancients. Many of the spices, herbals and seeds we use today, were first cultivated by the early peoples of the western world. In fact, our word "aroma" was the ancient Greek word for "spice." Today, when spices cost so little, it is hard to imaging that once these fragrant bits were so costly, that men were willing to risk life and limb in search of them.

"Not nearly has much flavor as the spiced green that is not decaf. Kind of disappointed"

"I really enjoyed this. The spice can be a bit too much at times, but this is a good tea overall. Will reorder."

"This is just what I was looking for! I wanted a green tea that was decaf but not too "green" tasting. The addition of the spices, perhaps heavy for some, is just right for my liking. I highly recommend it, especially for people in colder climes who like that spiced smell in the house in Autumn and Winter. "

"My favorite tea that I have ordered off Adagio so far. I drink this tea every morning! The green tea is not at all bitter, and the spices add the perfect kick without being too spicy. They are sweet and mild, but definitely have an impact on the overall tea."

"A fantastic evening tea - the right amount of spice, not overpowering or too mild. If you're a fan of chai or you need a good decaf tea, give this one a try."
