Description

A wake up call to the senses! Our Grapefruit tea is invigorating both in scent as well as taste. This blend of premium Sri Lankan black tea and grapefruit is fantastic choice for a morning cup, or any time you need a citrus-infused pick-me-up.

Story

Grapefruit, a member of the citrus family, can trace its origins to the West Indies. It is believed that grapefruits originated from a natural cross-breed between the orange and the pomelo. In the 1820s, grapefruit was introduced to Florida, where today, a majority of the world's supply is grown. The fruit's name describes the way it grows; in grape-like clusters on the tree.

"Simple great. I received this tea originally as a sample for Christmas and quickly ordered a full pouch. Both smells and tastes like a fresh grapefruit. Not overpowering but still the flavor is there. Makes for a perfect cup of tea in the morning. If you like some of the peach, or mango you'll most likely enjoy this one as well. The only downside to this tea is that I found it does NOT make for a good iced tea. Oh well nothings perfect right. I highly recommend this tea as I have already added it to my regular shipments."
