Description

A wake up call to the senses! Our Grapefruit tea is invigorating both in scent as well as taste. This blend of premium Sri Lankan black tea and grapefruit is fantastic choice for a morning cup, or any time you need a citrus-infused pick-me-up.

Story

Grapefruit, a member of the citrus family, can trace its origins to the West Indies. It is believed that grapefruits originated from a natural cross-breed between the orange and the pomelo. In the 1820s, grapefruit was introduced to Florida, where today, a majority of the world's supply is grown. The fruit's name describes the way it grows; in grape-like clusters on the tree.

" The smell of this tea is pretty inviting, albeit a little overpowering. I agree with the other reviews, though, that are a little dissapointed with the actual flavor."

"This is one of those adagio flavors that makes me want to rub it behind my ears and wear as perfume. It smells wonderful, obvisouly, and it tastes pretty darned good. "

"The grapefruit tea is pretty good. The aroma is awesome and it brews so well, but it seems like the flavor lacks a bit. Could be more grape-fruity. "

"More smell than taste, but I like to blend it with a sweeter tea for an interesting combination."
