Description

Premium black tea from Sri Lanka flavored with raspberry leaves. A summer patch treat, delectable both hot and cold. If you have yet to try gourmet raspberry tea, you'll be pleasantly surprised by its superior taste. Indulge your taste buds. Give our Raspberry Tea a try.

Story

The genus Raspberry consists of over 200 distinct species, however, only two of these are presently cultivated. The first mention of raspberry comes from the people of Troy (Helen perhaps?), located in modern-day Turkey. Its original name was 'ida,' a reference to the mountain on which it was first spotted. The medicinal properties believed to cluster in its leaves was of more interest to its early users than the sweet, red fruit. Today, you can find red raspberries, as well as black, purple and golden.

"This tea has a strong raspberry fragrance but delicate raspberry flavor. The tea is complemented well with a little bit of honey. "

"This tea is a nice raspberry flavored tea, although the smell is much stronger in the raspberry department than the actual taste."

"I mixed raspberry with Vanilla Rooibos and Chocolate Chip for a flavorful cup of morning tea. I steeped the rooibos first for 5 minutes then added raspberry and chocolate chip for an additional 3 minutes. Great flavor for a nice weekend tea."
