"This definitely tastes like sesame seeds. Slightly over-toasted, in a good way. It's not what I normally think of as a tea flavor, but I'm not a tea expert and I suspect there are some fancy japanese teas that taste kind of like this one. I like blending this with things, and I like it by itself with intensely-flavored meat-based meals. Goes great with garlicky things!"

"I thought this tea might be interesting to try, given the smokiness of the toasted sesame seeds. Upon first brewing it was rather bitter, and I enjoyed the taste more of the second up."

"I didn't know what to expect from this tea. I tried it today and it was pretty good. I had it with cream and sugar and found that the sesame taste was very light. I recommend it."

"Interesting tea. Great stocking stuff. Whether you like this flavor will probably be a case by case basis. Some will love it and some will hate it."

"This just wasn't the flavor I thought it would be. The smell was like soy sauce which I thought was really strange. The taste was not very strong but I guess maybe I just don't like the savory teas. I thought it would taste nutty but it didn't. "
