We apologize this tea is temporarily out of stock. We are among the few companies to offer teas directly from origin. While this has the advantage of superior quality, the disadvantage is longer delivery times.

Description

Green tea from China with the delicate flavors of chocolate and mint. Makes a light and refreshing drink that's popular both hot and iced. If you are new to green tea, this lightly flavored tea may be a good place to start.

Story

The story of chocolate begins with Columbus' discovery of America. Cocoa beans were among the curiosities he brought back from his voyage. However, it wasn't until the conquest of Mexico that the Spaniards learned of "chocolatl," a drink made from cocoa beans that the Aztecs served Cortez and his troops. The Spaniards found the drink bitter. And began adding other ingredients to sweeten its taste. Cane sugar, vanilla and nutmeg were all tried. Once the leaves of mint were added, a true classic was born.

"Sweet, excellent tea. Good for curbing cravings, currently using it to supplement my weight loss diet as just that. I recommend steeping for 5 mins rather than 3."

"This was not as good as I was expecting. I couldn't really taste the chocolate and the mint was very mild. Maybe it would be better with more tea, but it already had a strong tea taste. Just not much chocolate or mint."

"This tea is ok. Mild tasting. It is even better when you mix it with chocolate chip black tea. Much stronger flavor, but not bitter if brewed properly. Good for those chocolate PMS days and when you want to add a little pop to your day."
