Description

Green tea from the Zhejiang region of China. The name translates to 'safety and prosperity,' a gentle reminder of green tea's health benefits. Its thin, wavy leaves appear almost black when dry. Once infused, however, our 'Green Anji' shows its true colors, producing a light cup with a smooth, mellow taste and a gentle, soothing aroma.

Story

Zhejiang is actually China's largest tea producing province, and home to Dragon Well (or 'Longjing') green tea. Gunpowder green tea is also traditionally from Zhejiang, as is Tian Mu Qing Ding, from the breathtaking Tian Mu Mountain. Zhejiang shares a border with another important coastal tea province, Fujian.

"This tea has some really great vegetal flavor, but I found the magnitude of them to be just a little lacking."

"The first thought I had when I took my first sip is that this would be a perfect introductory green tea. It is very smooth, and not overpoweringly vegetable tasting. The price is very good for the quality of taste."

"Very light tea. The usual spinach flavor of green teas is not to strong. Very mild and great for any time of day. I wish it was cheaper though. The price is a little high."
