Description

Pomegranate has historically been a symbol of fertility, marriage, abundance as well as righteousness. We promise none of these things upon consumption, but trust you will enjoy this blend of Green tea from China, sweetly tart Pomegranate flavor, and decorative raspberry pieces.

Story

Pomegranate has been cultivated and enjoyed throughout the world- mainly in the Mediterranean and Middle East since ancient times. Recently, it has received a more popular following stateside with its classification as a 'superfood': It is rich in antioxidants and various vitamins. Its abundance of seeds may scare off the first-time pomegranate consumer, but it is those very seeds, referred to as arils, that are the most desired for their unique juicy flavor.

"This is one of my favorites. The tea is fruity and sweet, but the fruit flavor doesn't taste artificial. It pairs with the green tea perfectly. The little bits of raspberry are colorful and give the dry tea a nice appearance, so not only is the tea delicious, it's beautiful, too!"

"I ordered the sampler size. It didn't have as much of a pomegranate taste as I wanted but it is still a tasty green tea! You can re-steep it pretty well for 3-4 minutes."
