Description

Adagio Teas proudly announces the arrival of newest tea to our repertoire, the Cha Cha. Much like the Cuban dance for which it is named, famous for its three quick steps ('cha-cha-cha'), Cha Cha deliciously mingles soothing Chamomile, refreshing Peppermint and zesty Lemongrass into a wonderful herbal concoction sure to send your taste buds dancing with delight.

Story

The Cha-Cha is a dance native to Cuba. The first cha-cha was danced to Enrique Jarrin's La Engañadora in 1951 which is considered to be the first cha-cha-cha ever composed. The basic movements were developed when Pierre Margolie, a founding member of Latin American faculty at the Imperial Society of Teacher's Dancing, travelled to Cuba to find the rhumba being danced in triple step in place of the slow step. Tweaked over the years, there are many different variations of this dance from formal ballroom, to hip-swinging moves in a hot Latin night club.

"Very relaxing tea nice balance but still would have liked to have tasted a little more chamomile tea. Otherwise very tasty."

"Tasty! I thought I'd try this after trying (and loving) Foxtrot, and I'm glad I have. I wasn't sure I'd like it, since I'd never tried the lemongrass before and a friend expressed distaste for it, but I quite like it in this combination. I will likely order again."

"Very nice. The peppermint and lemongrass dominate this one a little bit."

"I have to experiment more with this tea. It was nice and flavorful, but I wasn't crazy about the aftertaste. Maybe there's too many strong flavors competing together. The peppermint is a *bit* stronger than I would like. This would be wonderful iced, though. But as a hot tea in the afternoon, it's a bit of a buffet. "
