Description

A delicious blend of natural fruits and spices that brews up a mouthwatering cup of herbal tea. Entirely caffeine free, it holds a special appeal for kids and sweet-toothed adults. Yet contains no sugar or other sweeteners. The flavor is all natural, emanating from sour cherries, apples, orange peels, rosehip, and hibiscus flowers. Highly addictive; Please proceed with caution!

Story

Cherries are believed to have been discovered in China about 6,000 years ago. Curiously enough, the name comes from Cerasus, a town in Turkey. The likely cause of this is the route these fruits travel on their way to Europe. Cherries figure prominently in the art and writings of the Roman conquerors, Greek citizens and Chinese emperors. After the discovery of the New World, cherries traveled to America along with early settlers. The bulk of the US crop now grows in the State of Michigan.

"This would make an amazing iced tea for the summer. It blends well with chamomile and apple. I love adding just a bit of rock sugar to make it a bit sweeter :]"

"Eating cherries before bed is supposed to make it easier to fall asleep. I don't know if I fell asleep any faster, but I certainly was in a more relaxed mood after drinking this hot herbal infusion w just a smidge of honey. Need to not make it overly strong, though----it skips right past tart to pure bitter if you steep it too long. "
