Description

A delicious blend of natural fruits and spices that brews up a mouthwatering cup of herbal tea. Entirely caffeine free, it holds a special appeal for kids and sweet-toothed adults. Yet contains no sugar or other sweeteners. The flavor is all natural, emanating from apple pieces, hibiscus flowers, cranberries and raspberries. Great served both hot and as an iced tea. Highly addictive; Please proceed with caution!

Story

The genus Raspberry consists of over 200 distinct species, however, only two of these are presently cultivated. The first mention of raspberry comes from the people of Troy (Helen perhaps?), located in modern-day Turkey. Its original name was 'ida,' a reference to the mountain on which it was first spotted. The medicinal properties believed to cluster in its leaves was of more interest to its early users than the sweet, red fruit. Today, you can find red raspberries, as well as black, purple and golden.

"Very good. To call it 'raspberry apple' would be more accurate, though, because there are a lot of apples in the blend, and it does change the taste. Not a bad change, mind you - I think the apples help to make the taste smoother. Overall very pleased with it, though still not my favorite herbal. Needs lots of sugar."

"With just a small little bit of sugar added as I found it to be very tart, this is going to turn out to be one of my favorites and I know I'll be ordering of this one again. Might need to steep it a bit longer and see how that does with it too."

"Super super super tasty! I prefer it iced with a little sweetener to offset the tartness a bit. "

"LOVE this tea! I like it with loads of sugar, but plain is just fine too! Would make a great iced tea, I think. Just make sure you brew it at boiling or close to it, otherwise it'll take forever!"

"I am not usually fond of drinking flavored teas but this is so yummy! I was surprised at the natural tasting raspberry. Good iced and hot! The tartness is such a treat! I can see where adding a sweetener may be good too. I am very pleased adagio does not add any sweetners....thanks! "
