Story

Grapefruit, a member of the citrus family, can trace its origins to the West Indies. It is believed that grapefruits originated from a natural cross-breed between the orange and the pomelo. In the 1820s, grapefruit was introduced to Florida, where today, a majority of the world's supply is grown. The fruit's name describes the way it grows; in grape-like clusters on the tree.

"One of my favorites. When I originally got some of this as part of a sampler, I didn't expect to care much for it, but I was pleasantly surprised. The astringency of the citrus is wonderful for waking me up, and pairs very well with food containing cranberries."
