Story

The blueberry is one of the few fruits native to North America. Blueberry was an important crop to the early Pilgrims, who learned about its cultivation from the Native Americans. A beverage made with blueberries was an important staple for Civil War Soldiers. Now, studies have found that blueberries rank #1 in antioxidant activity when compared to 40 other fresh fruits and vegetables. Antioxidants help neutralize harmful by-products of metabolism called "free radicals" that can lead to cancer and other age related diseases.

"I was really surprised because the tea has such a wonderful blueberry smell, but it doesn't taste at all like blueberry! Or even sweet for that matter. Very average tasting. I tried to brew it a little longer to bring out the blueberry flavor and it just became slightly bitter. Hopefully other fruit teas I'd like to try won't have this same problem!"

"Wow! This tea is great! This was my first white tea, and if other teas are anything like this one, I think I'll be tempted to order some others. The blueberry flavor is just perfect and the white tea gives it a subtle and soft tea taste. It's very good for when you want a lighter tea, and not something as harsh as a black."
