Description

Green tea from China with the delicate flavors of orange and cinnamon. A happy marriage of great taste and proven health benefits. Just the right touch of added flavors to liven up the cup. Makes a light and refreshing drink that's popular both hot and iced. If you are new to green tea, this lightly flavored tea may be a good place to begin.

Story

Orange, a common fruit these days, has a long and questionable history. Many countries claim to be its birthplace, including China, India, Burma, and Malaysia. During the Middle Ages, the fruit traveled from Asia to Europe, then along with the conquistadors to the lands of the New World. In its new home, the orange plant became fruitful (so to speak) and multiplied. Today, the Americas are the largest orange producers in the world, with most production clustered around the areas of Sao Paulo in Brazil and Florida in the United States.

"Green tea with an orange flavor. The orange smell is stronger than the orange taste."

"I am in the minority on not giving this a rave review. The mandarin seems to neutralize the bitterness of the green too much, subtracting from its flavor. However, I did mix it with plain green tea once and it tasted fantastic."

"I thought that I would love this. How could orange and green tea possibly be a bad combination? Sadly the orange flavor in this tea is overpowering and just plain weird. I saved this as a backup for when I run out of other tea, but even then I find I do not want to drink it"

"I've tried about 20 different green teas at Adagio and this is easily the worst. It tasted like someone added some cheap, cheesy orange flavor to a tea. Absolutely horrible - went right into the trash."
