Description

This Zhejiang region tea is rich and complex with a sweet and hypnotic aroma. In each sip you will find a decadent character like that of a sweet bun, with biscuit and butter-like notes. We hope you will feel indulgent with each luscious sip.

Story

Zhejiang is actually China's largest tea producing province, and home to Dragon Well (or 'Longjing') green tea. Gunpowder green tea is also traditionally from Zhejiang, as is Tian Mu Qing Ding, from the breathtaking Tian Mu Mountain. Zhejiang shares a border with another important coastal tea province, Fujian.

"This tea reminds me of Silver Needle: much less 'green' aromas than other Chinese greens, and not vegetal at all. Instead, it provides a light, floral aroma with a vanishingly soft mouthfeel. Highly re-infusable. My pattern is 90s-60s-30s-30s-20s."

"Nice green tea but fairly unremarkable. Pretty clear, which is what I prefer in green teas."

"This is a very good, light, green tea. Because of its low astringency, you can be careless with brewing and it does not become bitter. Great for when I'm juggling lots of things when I prepare my morning tea. I keep more of this tea on hand than any other variety (15 or more) and have not become bored with the taste."

"As the name implies, this is a nice, sweet green tea. It has a bit of a grassy note, and also a bit floral. I just reordered another sample, so that I can keep it in my rotation."
