Description

Commonly used in pies and other treats, rhubarb's sweet and tart flavor is blended with a subtle Chinese green tea to create another form of delight. You can now have your pie and in this case, drink it too. Enjoy hot or iced.

Story

Rhubarb is indigenous to Asia and its consumption is dated back to the time of the Tatars. The plant is also found in the region near the River Volga; its name derivative of the Greek 'rha' and 'barbarum', which refers to that particular region in central Russia. Rhubarb is commonly found in pies, jams, and tarts. The word 'rhubarb' also has another use: being repeated by background actors to create the sound of general hubbub to add to scenes.

"I love rhubarb. I must admit that I cannot get past the smell of this tea to taste it. I cannot detect any rhubarb, just a very odd not pleasant aroma."

"This is a delicious green tea, though i don't really taste the rhubarb. I'm a little disappointed in that, but that's not going to stop me from drinking it!"

"Hmmm, I loved the smell of this tea, but it's way too sweet for my tastes. I can't rate the tea as bad, though, because for what it is, it's fine."

"I won't go so far as rating this tea as awful. It has a pleasant smell of rhubarb but any taste is undetectable as far as I can tell. This tea is simply a waste of time as there is nothing special about it. "

"The rhubarb flavor was a much lighter than I was hoping. Still as good as any other flavored green tea with little flavor though."

"This tea is very light. I would give it 5 stars if the rhubarb taste was stronger, but overall it is a nice light green tea. I can't taste any of the strawberry or other flavors in it. Not a tea that I will keep in stock but one to enjoy from time to time. "
