UtiliTEA Kettle

"I use this kettle a few times a day and really find it very useful. It heats the water quickly and the temperature gauge is super easy, dial to green if your having green tea, or to brown if your having black tea. The on off switch is a cinch too. For the money you can't beat it. "

"The kettle itself is pretty fast in heating up the water to the desired level. What I did not like is that the dial does not have specific temperatures, but ranges of color codes, so if you want the water to be at 185F, as opposed to 175F, you have to take a guess. Otherwise, not bad!"

"Bought one for my classroom, and then bought another for home since I used the one at work all the time. The variable temperature is great for green tea, or for when you're feeling impatient and want to be able to drink your tea sooner. It holds enough water to make a few cups (good when you're sharing with colleagues, boiling water for pasta or making a whole pot of tea). The handle stays cool and the fact that it's cordless makes it super easy to use. "

I love, love, love that this kettle has an adjustable thermostat AND it only costs $49 -- you'd pay much more for an adjustable temperature kettle elsewhere. This kettle is PERFECT and so cute. "As an avid drinker of green tea, I would with great difficulty strive to get the water at just the write temperature to brew the perfect cup of green tea. However, usually this would be met with uncertainty and frustration. After doing a lot of research I stumbled upon the utiliTEA kettle and was immediately interested. After reading many reviews and waiting a long time, I finally decided to buy it. I was not disappointed. The kettle is very easy to use, quick, convenient, stylish, and always brews the perfect cup of green tea. It seems to be very well made and should last a long time. My one complaint is the plastic window near the handle that comes into contact with the hot water, as I don't like the possibility of chemicals from the plastic leeching into my water. However, the rest of the inside of the kettle is made of stainless steel, which is safe. I just wish that the plastic window was made with glass. This is a rather trivial complaint, though, as everything else about the kettle is wonderful. I definitely recommend it for people who frequently drink green and/or white tea."
