Description

Stay cool with this refreshing, spa-inspired blend of cucumber and premium Chinese white tea. Excellent over ice, this unexpected pairing will leave you relaxed and centered; a lot more convenient than placing cucumber slices on your eyelids.

Story

Cucumber were first cultivated in India 3,000 years ago. Ancient Romans also grew the vegetable widely; the Roman Emperor Tiberus was rumored to have eaten cucumbers every day. Cucumbers are usually consumed raw in salads or on their own, though popularity of the garden staple declined in the 17th Century due to fears of disease from raw vegetables. However, the cucumber has reclaimed its spot in the garden line-up, enjoyed raw, pickled, or cooked.

"This was nice. I made it iced, so doubled the amount of leaves for brewing. I think I'll cut it back to the normal amount as it tasted too strong IMO. I wouldn't drink it hot at all. For those that like iced cucumber water, this is a nice change of pace."

"I had a feeling I wouldn't like this tea when I ordered it but figured I would try it anyways, and I was right. I just have a hard time stomaching the flavor of cucumber mixed with my tea. Just not my thing"

"This has a light flavor, and the taste of cucumber is definitely there but not overpowering."

"This tea sort of tastes like a mix of white and green tea, to me. I was expecting a more distinct cucumber flavor, but I can't detect it at all."
