Description

An ancient Hindu legend recounts the story of the mango tree growing from the ashes of the sun princess who had been incinerated by an evil sorceress. When the mango ripened and fell to the ground, the beautiful sun princess emerged. Our new Honeybush Mango tea combines the taste of honey-scented Honeybush with the flavor of perfectly ripened mangoes. Sun princess sold separately.

Story

Mangoes originated in Southeast Asia, where they had been cultivated for over 4,000 years. Since their discovery, mango groves have spread to many parts of the world, though mostly the tropical and sub-tropical climates. There are over 1,000 different varieties of the mango plant in existence, and India alone produces half of the world's supply. Mangoes are used widely in the culinary world, from sweet sticky rice, to delicate chutneys, to spicy and savory pickles. It's also an important part of non-food life in several cultures; both the fruit and leaves are used for decoration, religious ceremonies and weddings.

"Love this tea! Mild, slightly fruity tea. Fruit flavor not as apparent as it is in honeybush apricot, but still very good."

"A rather overwhelmingly inviting scent erupted from the bag as soon as opened. The taste didn't disappoint either."

"This is ok. I find the flavor reminds me a little bit of waxy lipgloss. I prefer it with a little splenda as it is not sweet on its own. I bought the sample and probably won't buy a full sized one when I finish it."

"Pretty good. Much better mango flavor than a lot of the other mango flavors on this site."

"I'm not usually a big fan of herbal or fruit flavored teas, but this one is delicious. It doesn't taste artificial and I think its sweet enough to drink with minimal or no sugar at all."
