Description

Premium white tea from Fujian region of China marrying the tropical flavors of pineapple and coconut. A wonderfully smooth and subtle treat, delectable both hot and cold. If you are beginning your exploration of white tea, our tropics tea will serve a wonderful introduction.

Story

The first encounter between a European and a pineapple occurred in 1493, during Christopher Columbus' second voyage to the Caribbean. Lowering his anchor off the volcanic island of Guadaloupe, Columbus and crew went ashore to inspect a deserted Carib village. Amidst the jungle foliage and wooden pillars, they came upon cook pots filled with human body parts. Nearby were piles of freshly gathered vegetables and fruits, including pineapples. Columbus passed on the exotic meat, but ate the pineapple.

"So disappointed in this tea. The aroma in the package is amazing. Brewed it is lacking in flavor."

"I really enjoyed this! I ordered it thinking it would be fruity and perfect for icing. While I am sure it would be fine iced, the coconut that is the main flavor (for me at least) tastes better warm. Perfect for dreams of warm weather in winter mess!!"
