Makes a light and refreshing drink that's popular both hot and iced. If you are interested in the health properties of green tea and ginseng, this tea luckily combines both.
Story
Ginseng was discovered 5,000 years ago in the mountainous region north of China, called Manchuria. It quickly became revered for its strength-giving and rejuvenating powers, becoming a symbol of divine harmony. By the third century China was sending much of its prized silk to Korea in exchange for the wild root. Eventually, the demand for ginseng outstripped all available wild supply, and Korea began a commercial cultivation of ginseng, which continues to this day. Ginseng root is also grown in the US; some sold domestically, but the bulk destined for China.
