Ingredients & Lore
blended with yerba mate tea, natural mango flavor & marigold flowers
Mangoes are an important fruit in India, showing up in fashion, literature, history, and religion. They are India’s national fruit, as well as the national fruit of Pakistan and the Philippines. Across the ocean, yerba mate (pronounced “mah-tay”) is equally important in South America, particularly in Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, and Brazil. Enjoyed as a social drink that gets passed around the group, it was particularly popular with South American gauchos (horsemen) in the 18th and 19th centuries. Put them together and you’ve got a tea that can be popular anywhere in the world.
